Other blogs might call it “slo-mo house,” but I consider this type of music to be a nice update or throwback to the sort of early night French House that frames the rest of your evening. It’s danceable but not aggressive. It’s sexy and slinky but not outrageous. The samples and melodies stick. It’s a good sort of feeling, really: instantly enjoying a song, appreciating how familiar it sounds but appreciating it on it’s own.
